Wedding-Day Weather

Gorgeous, warm, and sunny

The wedding was simple, elegant, and vintage inspired;
Colors were neutrals, navy, and scarlet;
The mood was romantic;
The driving force was to just be us.

The bride carried a bouquet she made herself with a variety of simple white blooms, red berries, eucalyptus, and exotic flowers in an array of beautiful colors. It was wrapped in a wide dark cornflower blue velvet ribbon.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of baby's breath, eucalyptus, and fern that they put together themselves. They each wrapped their bouquet in a narrow white, ivory, or scarlet velvet ribbon.

Favorite Detail

Every thoughtful detail that the bride and groom executed for their wedding had special meaning behind it, especially the unique stone and sand ceremony.

First Dance

"Are You With Me?" by Easton Corbin

A large cookie table filled with homemade cookies gifted to the bride and groom from their families. Cookies ranged from buckeyes to French macaroons to clothespin cookies to baklava.
The cake was a three tiered "naked" cake with the top tier being lemon cake with lemon cream filling, the middle tier being dark chocolate cake with caramel cream filling, and the bottom tier being white chocolate raspberry cake with whipped cream filling. The cake was decorated with fresh berries and beautiful flowers.

The bride and groom thanked their guests with gifts of coffee beans and bags of tea with a heartfelt note for the adults and hot chocolate mix with marshmallows for the children.

Vendor Shout-Out

The bride and groom want to give a special thank you to their phenomenal photographer- Tessa Maxine of Tessa Maxine Photography and to their reception coordinator- Sarah Meade from The Reception House at Raymond Memorial. Without them, the day would not have gone as beautifully as it did. Thank you!

If We Knew Then What We Know Now

Do what makes you happy. Some details matter, some do not. Think, when you look back in 5, 10... 50 years- will that have mattered? The planning and the wedding day are not meant to be stressful so embrace it and plan with excitement. Also, make sure you have a trusted go-to person for days that are stressful anyway :)

Honeymoon Destination

The bride and groom spent eight blissfully perfect days on the beaches of Grand Cayman Island.
