Wedding-Day Weather

While the weather wasn’t great - cloudy, cool and raining - it still ended up being the perfect day, with enough breaks in the rain to sneak in a few pictures outside!

Inspirations

The color palette for the day was bright and fun - magenta, light teal, light yellow, midnight blue, white and gray. The bride was inspired by paper fans, bringing them into the ceremony and reception decor, as well as mandalas, which were on all of the paper goods, including the invitations for the big day.

Flowers

The Bride carried a handheld bouquet made up of magenta dahlias, succulents, pale yellow roses, white star of bethlehems and chocolate cosmos, all wrapped with a magenta ribbon.

The bridesmaids' bouquets were simple white hydrangeas with magenta ribbon wrapped around the stems.

The groom wore a boutonnière made up of a magenta dahlia and greenery and the groomsmen’s boutounnieres featured white carnations and greenery.

The reception centerpieces were tall cylindrical vases filled with dusty miller, white cremones and pale yellow carnations.

Favorite Detail

The bride, groom and DJ worked together to create an upbeat playlist that mixed American music with Hindi music, which got guests up and on the dance floor and blended the two cultures for a night of fun.

First Dance

Bethany and Sidharth danced to one of their favorite songs, “Bubbly” by Colbie Caillat.

Cake

The four-tier cake was beautiful, frosted with white buttercream icing and silver mandala decoration on each tier. It was a delicious Snickerdoodle cake with creme brûlée filling.

There was also an ice cream sundae bar with more than 20 toppings for guests to choose from when making their own sundaes.

Vendor Shout-Out

WatersEdge Event and Conference Cernter and Limelight Photographers were both amazing to work with and helped to make the day great!
